Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara

After breakfast, leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, picnic lunch en-route. On arrival proceed to the campsite/lodge. After a short rest proceed for a game drive in search of black manned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, buffalos and other plain’s game. Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

After breakfast, proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to camp/lodge for lunch, a further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Full day game viewing in the Mara with an option nature walk or visit to a nearby Maasai village in between the meals breaks. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge. (Maasai village visit available at extra cost).

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Naivasha

After breakfast, leave for lake Naivasha. After lunch, visit Hells Gate National Park and the geothermal power plant. Proceed to Fisherman’s camp/lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru

Leave after breakfast and drive to the home of millions of flamingos and the home of the white rhino and about 350 different species of birds. It’s known as: ORNITHOLOGICAL PARADISE. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel/lodge

Day 6: Bogoria Baringo

After breakfast drive to Bogoria where the hot water springs abound and plenty of medicinal springs. After lunch, visit Lake Baringo. A boat trip to see various species of birds and very ancient caves. (The boat ride is only one (1) hours. If you require more hours, one pays directly). Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel/lodge.

Day 7: Samburu

After breakfast, leave for Samburu via the Thompson falls. Lunch en-route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a campsite/lodge.

Day 8: Samburu

After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive. Return to a camp/lodge for lunch. 04.00 p.m. another game drive. Dinner and overnight at a campsite/lodge

Day 9: Samburu-Mt. Kenya

After breakfast, leave Samburu for Mount Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the Mau Mau caves (where Kenyan Freedom Fighters could hide from the British Troops during the struggle for Independence). Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel/lodge.

Day 10: Mt. Kenya-Amboseli via Nairobi

After breakfast, drive south via the biggest open-air market in East and Central Africa (Karatina). Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch in one of the restaurants. Continue to Amboseli via Kenya/Tanzania border (Namanga) arriving in Amboseli late afternoon. An evening game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/campsite.

Day 11: Amboseli

Early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast have a whole day game viewing. Optional: Maasai Village visit Nature walk swimming in one of the lodges (all at extra cost. Return to campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Amboseli – Tsavo West

After breakfast, drive via Chyulu hills to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive and a visit to Mzima Springs (The source of drinking water for Mombasa). Return for dinner and overnight at a lodge/campsite.

Day 13: Tsavo West – Tsavo East

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo East which is renowned for its large numbers of Elephants and the famous Man Eating Lions (during the building of the Kenya/Uganda Railway in 1890). Lunch on arrival. Game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/campsite.

Day 14: Tsavo East – Nairobi or Mombasa

After breakfast and your final game drive, return to Nairobi or go to Mombasa
