Maasai Mara – Nakuru – Bogoria – Amboseli
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Africa’s most visited park via Kericho (Kenya’s major tea growing town). It borders Serengeti National Park to the north. See the BIG FIVE (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino). You can watch migration of the wildebeests from the Serengeti into the Mara. Have lunch and go for game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodgeDay 2: Maasai Mara
After breakfast, whole day game viewing with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.Day 3: Maasai Mara - Nakuru
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a salty lake in the rift valley. It is home to millions of flamingos besides being the only single largest. Europhobia candelabra forest Africa south of Sahara. See the white rhino live in the wild. It is also home to the rare Rothschild giraffe. Have lunch and go for game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodgeDay 4: Nakuru - Bogoria
After breakfast, drive to Lake Bogoria, and lunch, game drives, visits the hot springs. You are likely to see a great number of greater kudus here than elsewhere in the country with marvelous bird watching. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodgeDay 5: Bogoria - Amboseli
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Parks with lunch en-route, seeing the most fascinating sanctuaries with great variety of wildlife. In this locality is Lake Naivasha, one of the two fresh water lakes in the rift valley. This is perhaps one of the only lakes known for its hardiness in withstanding ecological imbalance. With the introduction of crayfish from Louisiana and Coypu rodents from South America, ecologists thought this could upset the ecosystem within this lake. After breakfast, whole day game viewing with picnic lunch; Dinner and overnight at camp/lodgeDay 7: Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast, proceed for your final game drive. An early lunch will be taken then depart for Nairobi in the evening.Trip Information
