Those familiar with the accounts of expeditions to the Tibetan side of Everest will be able to spot the North Ridge and first and second steps, prominent obstacles during attempts on the mountains in the 1920s and ‘30s. Continuing to the top of the Kalapattar, more of the peak of the Everest itself comes into views. It is not an exaggeration to say that the main purpose of taking this course is to fully enjoy the view from Kalapatthar.
