Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport/Kathmandu. We will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free for independent exploration of the city and walk through the local market. Overnight at hotel (EP) Note: It is also possible that we can do one some sightseeing (like Swoyambhunath Stupa or Kathmandu Durbar Square) but that all depend on your arrival time in Nepal. Most of the flights are coming late evening so; it is not possible to include sightseeing on first day. But if there is enough time, we can accommodate it.

Day 2

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Tribhuvan Museum, Mahendra Museum & Swayambhunath Temple including the National Museum at Chaunni and the Museum of Natural History in Swayambhunath. Kathmandu Durbar square: This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries used to be the seat of Malla kings of Kathmandu. The Durbar square, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the social religious and urban focal point of the city. There are also several Museums inside the palace building. Swoyambhunath stupa (Monkey temple): This is considered as the oldest Buddhist stupa that watches over the valley from the top of hillock on its western side. The stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites of Nepal. It’ establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of primordial lake. It’s listed in World Heritage site. Day 3 Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, board the Luxury Tourist Bus and a journey of about four to five hours will take you to Chitwan National Park. On arrival, you will be received by a representative from Rhino Residency Resort, a comfortable and moderate standard resort with swimming pool and air-conditioned room. Royal Chitwan National Park is synonymous with some of the most rewarding and stimulating wildlife activities in Nepal. The Park is approximately 1,000 sq. km. of sub-tropical lowland area, heavily forested hills bordering India on the south. It is a wildlife and cultural haven, with a unique flora and fauna, a home to a multitude of wild animals such as Royal Bengal Tiger. Deer, Rhino, Bear, Elephant, Wild boar, leopard and more than 420 species of birds recorded inside the Park, as well as the fascinating Tharu tribe whose lifestyle has remained unchanged for several hundred of years. Several safari resorts and camps are there inside and outside the Park to offer the tourist comfortable accommodation, Elephant back safaris for wildlife viewing, canoeing and nature walks/bird watching with highly trained resident naturalist

Day 4 - Full Day Jungle Activity

Activities include elephant safaris, dugout canoeing, bird watching and nature or jungle walks and even a jungle trek for those staying for a longer period conducted by resident professional guides and naturalists. A visit to Chitwan allows the opportunity to fully experience the contrasts of Nepal. It offers an insight into a very different natural and cultural setting compared to the more familiar visions of the Kingdom

Day 5: Chitwan - Pokhara / Sarankot

After breakfast, take an early flight to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, set out straight for sightseeing of Pokhara city. Sightseeing in Pokhara includes places like, Barahi Temple, Devi’s fall, Brindabasini Temple, Seti George etc. and if time permits may be go for one hour pleasant boar ride in the Fewa Lake then drive to Sarankot. Overnight in lodge / hotel in Sarankot (B.D)

Day 6: Sarankot / Pokhara

Rise early and walk to the tower to view sunrise. Sarankot is also a beautiful spot to view the Annapurna Ranges. After sunrise, walk to the hotel and have breakfast. After spending some time trek up to the back of the Fewa lake. This is an easy and beautiful walk passing local villages and terraces. You will have an excellent view of Pokhara city/valley on the lap of Fewa Lake. Have lunch in one of the restaurant. After noon: Take one hour pleasant boat ride in Fewa Laka. Evening, stroll in the streets of Lake side. Over night in hotel (BB)

Day 7: Pokhara / Kathmandu / Nagarkot

After breakfast, go for Pokhara city sightseeing that includes places like Devi’s fall, Mahendra Cave, Seti Gorge etc. Afternoon: board a flight to Kathmandu (25 mins). Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be picked up and driven to Nagarkot. Over night in hotel.

Day 8: Nagarkot / Kathmandu via Bhaktapur

After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur city. Bhaktapur is about 10 km east of Kathmandu - a small town Bhaktapur meaning the city of devotees. It covers an area of 5 sq km and was founded by King Anand Dev (889 AD) in the shape of a conch shell, which is a sacred symbol. Bhaktapur was once ruled by the Malla's who built magnificent temples and statues etc. Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, temple of Batsala Devi, Temple of Talezu Bhawanin and the palace of 55 windows are some of the main attractions of this old city. The city is also famous for its traditional crafts production, cloth weaving, wood carving and pottery. Lunch may be taken in one of the restaurants in Bhaktapur. Then drive back to hotel. Over night in hotel (BB)

Day 9: Kathmandu

Free for independent activities or shopping or if interested may go for a mountain flight. Kathmandu is known as shopping paradise for antique collector. You can spend your time shopping however it depends on what you like! Whether you buy antiques, garments or Pashminas, it is always enjoyable to spend time shopping around.

Day 10: Transfer

Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the International airport for your onward flight. Tour ends.
