Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive: Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu. Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Tour briefing and rest of the evening will be free. Day 2 Sightseeing: Kathmandu - Nagarkot

Sightseeing - Kathamandu - Nagarkot Today will be devoted to a full day sightseeing of Kathmandu city that include places like: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati nath temple and the Boudhanath stupa. Kathmandu Durbar square: This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries used to be the seat of Malla kings of Kathmandu. The Durbar square, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the social religious and urban focal point of the city. There are also several Museums inside the palace building. Pashupatinath temple: It is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. It is situated 5km east from city center. The richly ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate its existence prior to 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River flowing beside the temple also a World Heritage Sites. Boudhanath: It lies about 6km to the east of down town Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the valley. It looms 36m high and presents one of the most fascinating specimen of stupa design. Boudhnath, a World Heritage site, is also known as “Little Tibet”. There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries in the area. Evening: drive to Nagarkot. Over night in hotel (BB)

Day 3 Sightseeing: Dhulikel

Nagarkot to Dhulikel. After breakfast, walk to Changu Narayan and sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur. Changunarayan is a 5th century temple located over a hillock 15km east of Kathmandu and is full of art works on metal and wood. Inscriptions dating back to 464 AD, found here, are the first epigraphic evidences of Nepali history. Bhaktapur is about 10 km east of Kathmandu – a small town Bhaktapur meaning the city of devotees. it covers an aread of 5 sq km and was founded by King Anand Dev (889 AD) in the shape of a conch shell, which is a sacred symbol. Bhaktapur was once ruled by the Malla's who built magnificent temples and statues etc. Drive to Dhulikhel. Over night in hotel in Dhulikhel (BB)

Day 4 Hike: Kathmandu - Namboduha

Namboduha - Hike/Kathmandu. After breakfast walk to the nearby village Namobudha. This will be a day long hike. We will walk through villages and reach the stupa and walk down to Panauti where we will be picked up by the vehicle in waiting. Drive to Kathmandu. Over night in hotel (BB)

Day 5 Rafting: Charaudi

Kathmandu Rafting. Early in the morning at 6:30 you will drive for approximately 3 hours from Kathmandu to Charaudi (river put in point) where our guide will be stand by in the river put in point.The Rafting will start at around 11 am. After a short orientation by the guide, raft will commence for an hour and a half. Lunch is served by the river side. After lunch, continue rafting until we arrive at camping site. It is a put out point for the people who are doing a day rafting. Dinner will be served and overnight camp (L,D)

Day 6 Rafting: Chitwan

Rafting/Chitwan. After breakfast at 8 am we continue raft until we arrive at Simaltal – the put out point. Lunch is served en route. This day we will be rafting for approximately two hours and a half, thereafter, we will drive to our destination to Chitwan. On arrival, you will be received by a representative from Resort, a comfortable and moderate standard resort with swimming pool and air-conditioned rooms. After checking in, a briefing will be done. You be taken for a village tour and engage in other activities. Dinner & Overnight in resort (full board)

Day 7 Exploring the Jungle

Chitwan – Jungle activities. Today you will be engaged in wild life activities the whole day today.

Day 8 Oveland: Pokhara

Chitwan/Pokhara. After breakfast, you will board the bus and drive to Pokhara for about 5 hours. You will be driving through scenic landscapes, including occasional lively markets lined with shops on either side of the road. Upon arrival in Pokhara, drive for further 20 / 25 minutes to Sarankot. Check in to the hotel. Over night in Sarankot.

Day 9 Sarangkot

Pokhara. Early morning walk to Sarangkot tower and view sunrise. Sarangkot is also a beautiful spot to view the Annapurna Ranges. After sun rise walk back to the hotel and have breakfast then trek up to the back of the Fewa Lake. This is an easy and beautiful walk passing local villages and terraces. You will have an excellent view of Pokhara city/valley on the lap of Fewa Lake. Have lunch in one of the restaurant followed by one hour pleasant boat ride in Phewa lake.

Day 10 Fly: Kathmandu

Fly Pohara, Kathmandu, Free After breakfast you will have some free time for self exploration in Pokhara before flying back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel. Rest of the afternoon will be at leisure / shopping.

Day 11Finish

Kathmandu / Departure. Depending on your flight time, we will transfer you to the International Airport.
