Itinerary

Day 1 Lima

Head out on a guided orientation walk to become familiar with the points of interest in this historic city.

Day 2 Cuzco

Visit the continent's oldest continuously inhabited city, home to the Incas for two centuries before the Spanish built their capital on this site. History is alive here, both in the streets and the many fine museums.

Day 3 Sacred Valley

Known as Wilcamayo by the Incas, the fertile Sacred Valley is a great place to see charming villages, brightly dressed locals and lots of llamas. Stay in a small town that is a magnificent example of Inca urban planning.

Days 4-7 Inca Trail

Hike the iconic Inca Trail, waiting for that moment that the Sun Gate comes into view. From there, enter the magical world of Machu Picchu.

Day 8 Cuzco

Recover from the hike in busy Cuzco. Drop into a cafe to celebrate the journey with a Pisco Sour - a clear local brandy mixed with egg whites and lemon.

Days 9-10 Amazon Jungle

Look forward to waking to the sound of exotic birdcalls on this Amazon adventure. A guided walk through the jungle provides an opportunity to learn about the magnificent flora and fauna in this beautiful part of the world.

Days 11-12 Lima

Chill-out in Miraflores' central park, the heart of bustling Lima. Why not celebrate the end of the journey by hitting the town?
