Discover the remote reaches of Krabi, a region studded with stunning limestone massifs rising out of warm, emerald seas. Paddle out to offshore islands in search of secluded stretches of sand and ethereal bays to swim in. There are also plenty of opportunities to spot the region's exotic wildlife, not just on Ao Nang Beach, but while exploring mangrove forests in your canoe.
Prepare to be blown away by the beauty of Krabi, a province surrounded by fine sandy beaches, fantastic limestone monoliths and fabulous jade silk seas. Spend the first day shaking off the fatigue of travel on Ao Nang Beach or take a songthaew further afield in search of a more secluded spot.
Days 2-4 Krabi Canoeing
Enjoy a day on the high seas with a boat trip to some of the most pristine beaches, islands and coral reefs around and take the opportunity to snorkel through stunning underwater worlds. Paddle among mangrove forests, up the river estuary and through dark caves, a chance to see water monitors, monkeys, gibbons and prehistoric paintings on the cliffs and cave walls. The highlight of the day is passing beneath the Khanap Nam Mountain, a magnificent canyon covered with wild flora.
Day 5 Ao Nang
Take one last dip in the warm waters of the Andaman Sea before leaving this tropical paradise behind.
