Itinerary
Day 1 Hanoi
The city centre, with its classical French and Buddhist influences, is easily explored from the hotel. Wander through the characterful Old Quarter and shop for exquisite silks, walk around Hoan Kiem Lake or gaze in wonder at the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, in a glass case within an imposing mausoleum.Days 2-3 Halong Bay
Head to Halong Bay for a relaxing overnight junk cruise. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch while cruising among majestic limestone islands and spend the afternoon swimming, soaking up the sun on the upper deck or maybe even kayaking. Have a delicious dinner on board and perhaps engage in a bit of night fishing afterwards. Rise early the next morning for sunrise over the bay, and possibly a pre-breakfast dip. Return to Hanoi in the afternoon.Day 4 Hanoi
Head over to the inspirational KOTO training centre for breakfast or tuck into a freshly cooked bowl of noodles at a street stall before saying 'tam biet' to Vietnam.Trip Details
