Don't miss a visit to the Peace Park, the famous Torii Gate, and, after a short ferry ride, Miyajima Island – the Island of Shrines.Day 6-7 Nagasaki
A thriving center for Western trade and culture. Feeling brave? Try the local specialty Fugu, or blowfish, for lunch.Day 8-10 Himeji - Kyoto
The centre of artistic and cultural history in Japan, Kyoto will leave you breathless with its temples, gardens and traditional courtyards. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a geisha popping into a teahouse in the narrow alleyways of Gion.Day 11-12 Mt. Fuji - Kawaguchiko

FUJI CLIMBING SEASON is as follows.From July 1 - August 27: Groups will spend 1 night in Kawaguchiko and 1 night on Mt Fuji in simple guesthouse accommodation and can climb to the top.From May 1-Jun 30/Aug 28-Nov 1: Groups will spend spend 2 nights in Kawaguchiko and drive to Station 5 and hike down the mountain (not up!)From Nov 2 - April 30: It is not possible to climb Mt Fuji as buses do not run up the mountain. Trips will spend 2 days in Kawaguchiko and do walks around the 5 lake region. |
