Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town at any time.

Day 2 West Coast and Lambert's Bay (B,D)

Travel to the picturesque Lambert's Bay area. Visit the well known “Bird Island” where you can find more than 25,000 Blue-eyed Gannets (seasonal).

Day 3 Gariep River (B,D)

Move into more arid regions and enter Namibia with a stop at the Gariep (Orange) River for some swimming and relaxation.

Day 4 Fish River Canyon (B,D)

Journey to Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa. In the afternoon, watch as a spectacular sunset slips over the canyon's rim.

Day 5-6 Namib Desert (2B,L,2D)

Start the long journey towards Sossusvlei (a clay pan, enclosed by the world’s largest sand dunes). On the way pass some of the little towns in the Southern part of Namibia like Bethanien and Helmeringhausen. On the next day enjoy a guided walk into the dunes.

Day 7-8 Swakopmund (2B)

Travel through mountain passes towards Swakopmund, passing Walvis Bay, the town that hosts the only deep sea harbour on the Namibian Coastline.

Day 9 Damaraland (B,L,D)

Head towards Khorixas, the administrative centre of Damaraland. Along the way stop at Cape Cross and Twyfelfontein.

Day 10-11 Etosha National Park (2B,2D)

Get ready for wildlife! Depart early for Etosha National Park. Spend the days on game drives heading eastward through the park.

Day 12 Windhoek (B)

Travel to Windhoek and explore the city in the afternoon.
