Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Kampala to Kisoro, Uganda

Depart early from the starting point in Kampala and journey through mountains and tropical bamboo rainforest to Kisoro.

Day 2 Gorilla Trek

Rise early to trek onto the forest slopes of the volcanoes in search of Mountain Gorillas. We are led by experienced trackers who will try to get us as close as possible to these rare primates.

Day 3 Volcano Climb

Today we climb one of the three volcanoes in the area: Muhavura Volcano, Gahinga or Sabinyo.

Day 4 Depart Kampala

An early departure back to Kampala where the tour ends upon arrival.

Brochure Notes	1. As an independent style trip, we do not have dedicated group departures, but rather we offer the trip on any given day that you choose. As such, there may or may not be other passengers booked on the exact same day as you. In addition, the gorilla trek is not a G.A.P Adventures dedicated departure, so please expected to be pooled with other passengers who have not booked through G.A.P Adventures.2. Please note that the deposit for this tour is USD $500 (GBP300)due to the need to purchase nonrefundable gorilla permit at time of booking. Exact deposit amount subject to change, pending any locally imposed changes in gorilla permit cost. 3. Please note this itinerary may be changed to Bwindi or Rwanada depending upon the availability of the gorilla permits.
