Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Quito

Arrive in Quito at any time.

Day 2 Galapagos (L,D)

Fly from Quito to the Galapagos Islands, transfer to our air-conditioned yacht, and begin cruising to the magnificent islands!

Day 3-8 Galapagos (6B,6L,6D)

Visit several islands during our Galapagos adventure, viewing abundant wildlife and soaking up the spectacular scenery. Each day, explore the islands on land as our expert guide interprets the natural history and educates us on the unique habitat and wildlife.

Day 9 Quito (B)

Visit one last island before flying to Quito. Use the free time to explore all the hidden gems that Quito has to offer.

Day 10 Quito / Lima

Fly to Lima. Flight is unescorted, not included and must be pre-booked.

Day 11 Pisco

The morning is free to explore Lima before catching a bus to Pisco. Spend a night on the town enjoying the town's famous drink: The Pisco Sour.

Day 12-13 Nazca

Visit the nearby Ballestas Islands to view the area’s sea lion colonies. From Pisco, catch a bus to Nazca, stopping to check out the sand dunes of Huacachina, where you can try to carve a trail on a sandboard. Take an optional flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines, then visit a fascinating Pre-Inca cemetery in the Nazca desert. Night bus to Arequipa.

Day 14 - 16 Arequipa / Colca Canyon

Peru's second largest city is surrounded by the Andes and lies in the shadow of El Misti Volcano. Two nights near the Colca Canyon allows time to acclimatize and take short hikes around the deepest canyon in the world. Keep your eyes open as you may spot condors soaring through the majestic Andes.

Day 17–19 Puno / Lake Titicaca (B,L,D)

Travel to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Take a boat trip to visit the Uros and Taquile islands, then immerse yourself in Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small village before returning to Puno on Day 19.

Day 20-21 Cuzco

Enjoy spectacular views of the high Altiplano travelling from Puno to Cuzco. Friendly, colonial Cuzco offers nearby Inca ruins, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and churches.

Day 22-25 Inca Trail (3B,3L,3D)

Begin a once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas. Local porters and guides let you focus on the spectacular mountain scenery that fills each day. On the final day climb the steps to the Sun Gate to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu. Return to Cuzco by train in the afternoon.

Day 26 Cuzco

Enjoy the many sites and activities of Cuzco on this free day.

Day 27-29 Amazon Jungle (2B,2L,2D)

Fly to Puerto Maldonado, deep in the Amazon. Travel by motorized canoe to our lodge in the Tambopata Rainforest Area, and explore the jungle with local guides before flying to Lima.
