Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Quito
Arrive in Quito at any time.Day 2 Galapagos (B,L,D)
Fly from Quito to Baltra, board our yacht, and begin cruising the Galapagos.Day 3-8 Galapagos (6B,6L,6D)
Visit several islands during our Galapagos adventure. Marvel at the abundant wildlife and soak up the spectacular scenery. Each day travel from our yacht to the islands via small, motorized launch. Explore the islands as our guide interprets the natural history and teaches us about the unique wildlife.Day 9 Quito (B)
Visit one last island before flying to Quito. Free time to explore colonial Quito.Day 10 Quito / Lima
Fly to Lima. Flight is unescorted, not included and must be pre-booked.Day 11-13 Puno / Lake Titicaca (B,L,D)
Fly to the town of Puno on the shores of spectacular Lake Titicaca. Take a boat trip to visit Taquile Island before continuing on to Amantani where you will be immersed in Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small village. Visit the floating islands of Uros before returning to Puno on Day 13.Day 14 Cuzco
Enjoy spectacular views as you follow the path of the mythical Inca founders on this full day of travel from Puno to Cuzco through the high Altiplano region.Day 15 Ollantaytambo
Travel with our local guide through the Sacred Valley and visit the majestic Pisac archaeological site. Continue to the last living Inca town of Ollantaytambo before preparing for the hike ahead.Day 16-19 Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (3B,3L,3D)
Begin a once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas with a morning trip to km 82, where our hike starts. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free, and fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery fill every day of the hike. On the final day, climb the steps to Intipunku, the 'Sun Gate', to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu. Return to Cuzco by train in the afternoon.Day 20 Cuzco
Often considered the Mecca of Peru, Cuzco has a friendly, colonial atmosphere. The town offers nearby Inca sites, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and ornate churches. Rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking excursions are also possible options.Day 21-23 Amazon Jungle (2B,2L,2D)
Fly from high in the Andes to Puerto Maldonado, deep in the lowlands of the Amazon jungle. Travel by motorized canoe to our lodge in the Tambopata Rainforest Area, which holds the world record for the most bird sightings in one area. Explore the jungle with expert local guides. Fly to Lima for one last night in the city.Trip Details

Instead you will have 2 nights in Cuzco, travel by train for a night in Aguas Calientes, and join the hikers for the tour of Machu Picchu. 4. The Quito-Lima international flight (Day 10) is not included. This flight must arrive in Lima on Day 10. |
