Visit several islands during our Galapagos adventure, viewing wildlife and soaking up the spectacular scenery. Each day, travel from the yacht to the islands via a small, motorized launch. Explore the islands while learning about the natural history and unique wildlife from our naturalist guide. Most days you can snorkel among sea lions, or just relax out on deck.Day 5 Quito (B)
Visit one last island visit before flying to Quito. Free time to explore Quito.Day 6 Quito / Lima
Fly to Lima. Flight is unescorted, not included and must be pre-booked.Day 7 Cuzco
Transfer to the airport early in the morning for the flight to Cuzco. In Cuzco, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Relax or explore the spiritual sites of Sacsayhuaman and Tambo Machay.Day 8 Aguas Calientes
Board an early morning train with your local guide and wind through the Urubamba Valley towards Aguas Calientes. Enjoy the local scenery or the bustling activity along the railway tracks. Archaeology buffs can visit Machu Picchu independently before the guided tour the following morning.Day 9 Machu Picchu / Cuzco
Rise early to take advantage of viewing Machu Picchu in the early morning light. This is the best time to view the 'Lost City of the Incas'. Our local guide will provide a detailed interpretation of the Inca history before the majority of other tourists arrive at midday. Leave for Cuzco by train in the afternoon.Day 10 Cuzco
With a friendly, colonial atmosphere, Cuzco offers nearby Inca ruins, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and churches. Rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking are also possible.Day 11-12 Amazon Jungle (2B,2L,2D)
Fly from high in the Andes to Puerto Maldonado, deep in the lowlands of the Amazon jungle. Then travel by motorized canoe to our lodge in the Tambopata Rainforest Area, which holds the world record for the most bird sightings in one area. Explore the jungle with expert local guides.Day 13 Lima
