Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Whitehorse
Arrive in Whitehorse at any time.Day 2 Kluane National Park
Head west to the towering peaks of Kluane National Park and enjoy a day hike through stunning landscapes to the King’s Throne.Day 3 Kluane National Park (L)
Take in a full day of white-water rafting through exhilarating rapids, canyons, soaring mountains, and unequalled opportunities to spot wildlife, including grizzly bears, caribou, moose and eagle. The Tatshenshini is considered one of the top rafting river trips in the world.Day 4 Tok
Drive through scenic Kluane National Park, along Kluane Lake and across the Canada/Alaska border. Continue through Tetlin Wildlife Refuge to Tok, the heart of Alaska, and enjoy a local dog sled demonstration.Day 5-6 Valdez
Travel over Thompson Pass and stop at the Worthington Glacier. En route we visit Keystone Canyon. On day 5, cruise to Prince William Sound or try some great sea-kayaking among the glaciers.Day 7-8 Palmer, Denali National Park
Morning drive to the Matanuska Glacier with an optional afternoon ice walk on the Glacier. Follow the trail on a guided nature hike. Drive to Denali National Park with optional scenic flights over Mt. McKinley.Day 9 Denali National Park
Full day trip into Denali National Park. Take the shuttle bus into the park where you are free to get off at any time and go for a walk on the tundra.Day 10-11 Kenai Penninsula
Visit Turnagain Arm, noted for its 12 metre tides, Beluga Point, formerly a native hunting camp and southeast Kenai Peninsula, home to seven natural wonders. Optional day hike near Exit Glacier to Harding Icefield or a boat cruise to Kenai Fjord National Park.Day 12 Homer
Travel southwest to the end of the Kenai Peninsula road to the fishing town of Homer, on the banks of Kachemak Bay. In the evening visit the famous ‘Salty Dawg Saloon” along Homer Spit.Day 13-14 Wilderness Cabin, Kachemuk Bay State Park
Experience a true Alaskan adventure in a remote wilderness paradise. Enjoy home-cooked meals, including a salmon bake, and bask in the breathtaking scenery.Day 15 Depart Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage between 5-6pm as the tour ends.Trip Information
