The route starts in the beautiful medieval city of Siena. The route then travels through the Brunello vineyards up to MontalcinoYou are then rewarded with a rest day in the classic Tuscan hilltop town of Montalcino, the home of the magnificent wine Brunello di Montalcino. Wine-tasting is of course an option, and we also provide details of a most rewarding optional walk or cycle to the Abbey of Sant'Antimo where the monks still conduct services in Gregorian chant.Day 5 Montalcino to Bagno Vignoni
