Travelling from the Pearl of the Orient to the City of Angels, this epic overland adventure takes you through a kaleidoscope of cultures, a plethora of cuisines and a dazzling array of wonders. Shop in chic big-name boutiques in cosmopolitan Hong Kong if you arrive early, before embarking on a journey over immaculate rice paddies to the homelands of the colourful Miao minority. Then follow the road over the misty mountains of Kunming, and enter Vietnam, where we take a cruise on breathtakingly beautiful Halong Bay, explore the imperial ruins of Hue, soak up the sun on the beaches of Nha Trang and delight in street food in Saigon. Crossing in Cambodia, experience Khmer culture at a friendly village homestay before checking out the pristine beaches of Sihanoukville and delving into the country's turbulent history in its capital, Phnom Penh. The extravagant ruins of Angkor are a fitting finale to our fantastic stay in Cambodia, and then finally, we make our way to the big, brash yet charming capital of Thailand for a fabulous farewell feast.
