Days 1-2 Siena to Buonconvento
The route starts in the beautiful medieval city of Siena. Justifiably renowned for its art and architecture as well as its magnificent food and wines, Siena gives you a real feel for life in days gone by. The vibrant local culture lives on today, as demonstrated by the world-famous spectacle of the Palio.Day 3 Buonconvento to Montalcino
After a ride through wonderful scenery to the famous benedictine Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, continue through the Brunello vineyards and farmland up to the lovely town of Montalcino.Days 4-5 Montalcino to Pienza
Cycle through rolling farmland and shady woods to the small and pretty town of San Qirico d'Orcia. Then enjoy a glorious ride through open country with far-reaching views on the way to the immaculate Renaissance town of Pienza.Trip Details
