Itinerary
Day 1 Quito/Mindo
Private transfer to the Mindo area where we will stay for the next two nights in a forest lodge, exploring the beautiful cloud forest of Ecuador.Be part of nature and discover the beauty of the plants and birds that live in the valley of Mindo. Located one hour and forty five minutes in the north west side of Quito, it is the best place to rest surrounded by nature. Their forest, orchids and mainly the diversity of birds are the ideal place for all the visitors who want to feel the relaxation that only nature offers.Day 2 Mindo
Enjoy your day exploring the area, walking, hiking, swimming and bird watching. Optional activities can also include: horseback riding, river tubing and rappelling.Some facts about Mindo -We are about 1200 meters on the sea level. (3937 ft)-The temperature varies from 14 to 23 C (58 to 74 F)-Mindo is considered a paradise for birdwatching. Named in 1997 "The First Area in South America in importance for birds” by Bird Life International-Near the village is the Mindo Nambillo Protected Forest-This forest has more than 450 species of birds and approximately 32 species are endemic-Around 300 species of orchids, and approximately 39 species of hummingbirds call this homeDay 3 Mindo/Quito
