Northern Peru Experience

Trip Image Discover a side to Peru often overlooked: the dry, sunny north, home to beaches and pre-Inca archaeological sites. Fly to Chiclayo, home to the country's most important archaeological discovery of the past 50 years: the Royal Tomb of the Lord of Sipan. Visit the site's museum before moving on to colonial Trujillo, known for its stately mansions and nearby World Heritage ruins of Chan Chan, the largest pre-Columbian city in South America. Nearby Huanchaco provides a little beach and seafood to round it all off.
