Days 1-2 Hanoi

Leave the frenetic pace of the city behind and glide past the soaring karst peaks of Halong Bay aboard a private boat. Spend the night on board beneath a star-studded sky, with plenty of time to hear Steve talk about his craft.Days 5-6 Sapa
Practise new-found photography skills in Sapa, a scenic hill town nestled among the magnificent misty mountains the French referred to as the Tonkinese Alps. A walk to Cat Cat village, home of the blue-robed H'mong people, is a lesson on portraiture.Day 7 Bac Ha
Great action shots can be had in the bustling market of Bac Ha, where the H'mong and many other colourfully-dressed minority groups meet and mingle.Day 8 Hanoi
Try out new techniques back in historic Hanoi, exploring peaceful temples, shady boulevards and charismatic French colonial buildings with plenty of film on hand.Days 9-11 Hoi An
Photographic opportunities abound en route to historic Hoi An. A stop at Lang Co uncovers a picture-perfect village with a backdrop of mountain peaks and a stretch of white sand beach meeting a turquoise lagoon and a visit to the Cham Museum gives an insight into the illustrious history of this region.Days 12-15 Siem Reap
