Itinerary
Day 1 Hopkins Village
Upon arrival in Belize you will proceed to the domestic air terminal for your short flight to Dangriga, where you will be met by a Hamanasi representative and transferred to the resort. Nestled between the lush Maya Mountains and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, Hamanasi is a special place from which you can explore the best of Belize on and offshore. Hamanasi is located on a 12-mile stretch of beautiful beach near the village of Hopkins, Belize from which you can explore more reef and more inland attractions than any other place in Belize. There is no better place in Belize to experience the culture and access more of the country from one location!Day 2-7 Hopkins Village
Enjoy the next four days to unwind. Here, friendly attentive staff will greet you with warm smiles and exceptional service. You have your choice of activities, whether you go diving every day or just relax, it's up to you. Optional activities include: barrier reef diving, barrier reef snorkelling, a Mayflower Waterfall hike, an excursion to the Aktun Tunichil Muknal cave, Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve tour, birding excursion, jungle river kayaking & canoeing or a magical Mayan history tour. Each tour departs on a set day - ask when you arrive. If these adventures don't keep you busy there are plenty more things to do! Kayak in the sea. Take a bike along the Hopkins/Sittee Road passing through the sedge marsh teeming with birds. Swim in the sea or our 50-foot freshwater pool. Or, simply stroll through the Garifuna fishing village of Hopkins. Between offshore and onshore activities, you will never have a dull moment -- unless, of course, you simply want to relax in a hammock on the beach!Day 8 Hopkins Village
