Itinerary
Day 1 San José
Arrive in San José and travel to your hotel for overnight.Day 2 Tortuguero
Travel by road then by boat through the famous canals of Tortuguero revered as a tropical eco-paradise. You will have many opportunities to view and photograph wildlife in this remote and spectacular park.Day 3 Tortuguero
Today enjoy guided tours of the Tortuguero canals where you'll see toucans, parrots, herons, kingfishers, fishing bats, three-toed sloths, and iguanas. try to spot howler, white-faced and spider monkeys who live in the jungles.Day 4 La Fortuna
This morning transfer to the Arenal/La Fortuna area near the active Arenal Volcano. Choose from an array of optional activities. Explore the trails and fields around the live volcano, visit the Tabacon Hot Springs, the Venado Caves or the Caño Negro Biological Reserve.Day 5 La Fortuna
Spend today exploring the places you missed yesterday or try optional white water rafting, or rock climbing.Day 6-8 Guanacaste / Beach Area
