Itinerary
Day 1 San Jose
Arrive in San Jose and transfer to your hotel.Day 2-3 Tortugero
Travel along Costa Rica’s lush northern coast into Tortuguero National Park, home to the Caribbean’s most important breeding ground for endangered green sea turtles. En route enjoy breakfast in a typical restaurant, visit a banana plantation then sail through the canals. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon sightseeing in Tortuguero. On Day 3 continue exploring the national park.Day 4 Sarapiqui
Transfer from Tortuguero to Sarapiquí. Afternoon is at leisure.Day 5-6 Arenal
Enjoy a morning guided hiking tour of La Selva Biological Station. In the afternoon transfer to Arenal. The next day walk along the Arenal hanging bridges and transfer to La Fortuna Waterfall for a light swim. Return to La Fortuna for lunch. In the afternoon tour the Arenal Volcano National Park. Complete your day at the hot springs.Day 7 San Jose
Return to San José for a city tour.Day 8-9 Savegre
Depart for San Gerardo de Dota situated in the lush Savegre Valley and enjoy some horseback riding. On Day 9, embark on a guided hike through the cloud forest. This Quetzal Tour is ideal for spotting the famous Quetzal bird.Day 10 Dominical
Depart to the isolated paradise of Dominical beach.Day 11-12 Manuel Antonio / Quepos Area
Enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon tour Manuel Antonio. On Day 12, it’s off to the Manuel Antonio National Park. The afternoon is at leisure.Day 13 San Jose
Breakfast and return to San José.Day 14 San Jose
