Itinerary

Day 1 Ushuaia

Arrival at Ushuaia airport; meeting and transfer to the hotel. This Island situated in the very south of the southern hemisphere is a little smaller than Ireland, divided into Argentina and Chile. The Argentine side, to the east, covers about a third of the surface. The climate of the island is not as cold as one tends to imagine. Spring and summer are lovely times for camping, walking, sailing along the channels and lakes or for trout fishing. In autumn the woods turn fiery red and in winter you can do some cross country skiing and other winter sports, like dog sledding. From here you can sail to Cape Horn or Antarctica, take the only roads in Argentina where forests run right down to the sea or have a tea at the last tea house before the South Pole. Explore the lakes on kayaks or watch the Argentinian beavers. Tierra del Fuego boasts some of the most superb sceneries in the world, valleys carpeted with flowers, flocks of wild geese, trout filled rivers, aquamarines lakes and impressive glaciers. Come and see these,and many more marvels in Tierra del Fuego.Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world. You should not miss the visit to the "End of the World museum", a walk around the harbour, and be sure to hit some restaurants to taste the excellent spider crabs.

Day 2 Ushuaia

In the morning, take an excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park to enjoy the wonders of nature in the world’s southernmost city, surrounded by mountains, woods and lakes. After enjoying a delicious Patagonian lamb barbecue lunch transfer to the harbour for a three hour navigation along the waters of the Beagle Channel. Onboard a catamaran, we will watch diverse species of sea birds and colonies of sea lions. Transfer back to the hotel for the night.

Day 3 Ushuaia

Day at leisure to enjoy optional activities.

Day 4 Ushuaia

Check out of hotel and transfer to airport for departure flight.
