Itinerary
Day 1 Santiago
Reception at airport in Santiago, and transfer to hotel. Afternoon City Tour around Santiago, starting at the Cerro Santa Lucía (Santa Lucia Hill), where the city was founded in 1541. Afterwards visit to the Government Palace “La Moneda”, and Plaza de Armas, where we will see important national monuments such as the Catedral (Cathedral), Correo Central (Main Post Office), and the Municipalidad de Santiago (City Hall). Finally, after crossing the Mapocho River, and passing through different residential districts with an overview of the city, return to the hotel in Santiago.Day 2 Santiago
Full day tour to Viña del Mar & Valparaíso. Arrival to Valparaíso, city where the main commercial port and the Congress of Chile are located. During the tour, visitors are greeted by the multicoloured houses on the hills, parks and diverse historic monuments, traditional bars and restaurants. Visit to “La Sebastiana,” one of the houses of the Nobel Prize winner Pablo Neruda that today is a museum. Later, the tour follows to Viña del Mar, also known as the Garden City because of the great amount of parks and nice gardens that it has. The Casino somehow reflects the aristocratic character that the founder, José Francisco Vergara, tried to bestow upon this city. The tour continues by Reñaca, one of the most exclusive beaches of the central coast of Chile that has prestigious restaurants and modern buildings.Day 3 Santiago
Departure from Santiago towards Maipo Valley. This is an ideal tour for learning about some of the history and magic of wine, in some of the most prestigious wineries in Chile and the world. An experience framed by the greenness and imposing mountains of this valley. Here it is possible to taste different wine varieties, appreciating their quality, flavour, and scents.Prestigious and renowned wineries such as Cousiño Macul, Undurraga, Concha y Toro, are to be found in this valley. Arrival to the Maipo Valley, to one of its wineries to learn about the wine making process, walk around the vineyards, production plants, wine cellars and to see the final product already bottled. Later on in the afternoon departure towards another winery to observe the process of the wine under another perspective.Day 4 Santiago
