Itinerary
Day 1-2 Arrive Puerto Maldonado / Heath River Wildlife Centre
Arrive at any time on day 1. You will be met at Puerto Maldonado airport and transferred to the lodge by boat. There you will be able to enjoy the hospitality of the lodge and the activities available in the surrounding jungle including a visit to a macaw and parrot clay lick.Day 3-4 Sandoval Lodge
Today you travel by boat to Sandoval Lake lodge. It is an hour walk in from the Madre de Dios river to Sandoval Lake where you travel across the lake to the lodge. From here, you can enjoy a nature walk as well as an evening trip around the lake to see what animals are lurking about.Day 5 Depart Puerto Maldonado
Travel back upriver to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport for your flight out of the jungle to Cuzco or Lima.Trip Details
