Itinerary

Day 1 Rio de Janeiro

Arrive in Rio de Janeiro. Hotel check-in and spend the day at leisure.

Day 2 Rio de Janeiro

Take a guided tour of Rio. Tour the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, travel inside the famously long Rebouças Tunnel. At the Cosme Velho district ride a cogwheel train for views of the Christ the Redeemer statue. Later visit São Conrado and Pepino Beach.

Day 3 Rio de Janeiro

Tour the famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.Then, enjoy a traditional barbecue. Dinner will be at the barbecue house, a favourite place of Cariocas. After dinner enjoy a night of Brazilian music and Samba show.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro

Visit the former fishing village of Itacuruçá and sail to Angra dos Reis Bay. Highlights include a stop at Jaguanum Island for a swim and Ilha do Martins for lunch. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 Rio de Janeiro

Explore the city at your leisure.

Day 6 Iguassu Falls

Depart hotel and fly to Iguassu (flight is not included). Long before the Spanish explorer Don Alvar Nuñes reached South America’s greatest waterfall in 1541, the Indians had named it Iguaçu meaning great waters. The falls - all 275 of them - are southern Brazil’s most spectacular sight.

Day 7 Iguassu Falls

Take a guided bus tour. Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River which forms the border between Argentina and Brazil. Arrive in Argentina and travel to Iguazu Park. Visit the upper Argentinean falls including the San Martin Falls. Later visit a shopping district and then a brief stop to the famous Three Borders Point for views of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

Day 8 Iguassu Falls

You'll be taken from the hotel to the airport.
