Take the scenic route from Croatia - tourism's latest hotspot - to Italy's City of Light. You'll experience both history and nature at their best in Croatia - from Roman ruins and Byzantine churches to unspoilt sandy beaches on the azure Adriatic coast. The last stop, Venice, requires little introduction, being the height of aquatic elegance with her famous basilica, piazza and gondolas.
