Itinerary
Day 1 Quito/Kapawi Lodge
Transfer to the airport for your flight over the Andean mountains and Amazon jungle to arrive at the isolated paradise at the Kapawi's Achuar Community airstrip. Board a canoe and journey along the Pastaza River and Capahuari River until you reach Kapawi Lodge. Receive an orientation and spend the day at leisure.Day 2-4 Kapawi Lodge
Venture on a short rainforest hike or take an early morning canoe trip for some bird watching. Return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for morning activities. The lodge provides multiple programs daily. Most itineraries include visits to the Achuar communities, rainforest hikes, canoeing, and bird watching.Day 5 Kapawi Lodge/Quito
You will leave your jungle paradise by boat and head to the Kapawi Communitys airstrip. Fly to Quito.Trip Information
