Itinerary

Day 1 Belize City

Arrive in Belize City.

Day 2-3 Cayo District

Surrounded by underground caves on the shores of the Caves Branch River, our unique lodge will be your jungle launch-pad for the next two days. After breakfast, we travel to the Peccary Park Adventure Centre for rainforest rappelling, jungle survival training, hiking and a Mayan cave tour. On Day 3, go cave tubing through crystalline-lined caves and embark on an adventure rainforest zip-lining!

Day 4-5 San Ignacio

As we travel to San Ignacio, you'll trek through dense jungle in the Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve before reaching the cave entrance of Actun Tunichil Muknal, "Cave of the Stone Sepulcher." Here you’ll be outfitted for an incredible caving and archaeology experience in one of the most impressive caves in the Maya lowland.The next day, visit the ancient Maya city of Xunantunich. Afterwards, at Barton Creek Cave you can canoe and view incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 6-8 Placencia

Depart for the coastal town Placencia. Enroute visit St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park, home to over 200 species of birds and three species of Belize’s wildcats including the Jaguar, Ocelot and Jaguarundi. Swim the sapphire-hued natural spring swim hole and examine the intricate rock formations at St. Herman's Cave. The next day enjoy a snorkel tour to Laughingbird Caye, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On Day 8, enjoy the day at leisure.

Day 9 Placencia/Belize City

Enjoy the morning at leisure. Later, flight to Belize City.
