Itinerary

Day 1 Antigua/Monterrico

You'll be picked up at the Antigua airport for your trip to Monterrico via road and ferry.

Day 2 Monterrico

Wake up with the glorious sound of the crashing waves. The black sand beach stretches for miles and miles and is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunsets.

Day 3 Monterrico

Today is at leisure to enjoy the local activities. Monterrico has become well known for its two nearby nature preserves which are well worth a visit. Or, if you're looking for less activity, just lie in a hammock and enjoy a tropical drink - or play in the dramatic waves (they're pretty big here and not for everyone). If you're in the mood, walking down the street is a great way to meet people and experience a bit of real Guatemalan culture.

Day 4 Guatemala

You'll be picked up for your journey back to the Guatemala Airport or hotel along a scenic route.
