Itinerary

Day 1 Guatemala City

Arrive in Guatemala City. You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel.

Day 2 Quiriguá

It’s off to explore the ancient sandstone city of Quiriguá. A guided tour will explain how this archaeological site contains arguably the largest stelaes ever discovered in the Mayan world.

Day 3 Rio Dulce

Take a boat trip on the “sweet river” to Livingston, a beach town and arrive at your tropical resort. There are plenty of activities to choose from: try swimming, jungle tours, windsurfing, hiking, or bird watching. Travel upriver for wildlife viewing, stopping along the way for a dip in the hot springs.

Day 4 Santo Tomas

Explore Guatemala's largest Caribbean seaport Santo Tomas and enjoy a boat trip along Rio Dulce.

Day 5 Rio Dulce

Travel from Rio Dulce to Guatemala City.

Day 6 Guatemala City

Head to the airport for your departure flight.
