Itinerary
Day 1 San Jose/Corcovado National Park
Travel early via air, land and river from San Jose and arrive to the remote jungle lodge for lunch. This afternoon is free for an optional tour or just relax at the hotel. This area is rich in flora and fauna.Day 2 Corcovado National Park
One of the most remote and pristine parks in Costa Rica, Corcovado consists of 40,000 hectares bordering the Pacific Ocean. A little further inland, you'll find secluded lagoons and marshes teeming with life. Your guided walk through the park will take you through some wildlife-rich areas where you are likely to see three species of monkey and many species of birds. You'll also stop at the beautiful San Pedrillo River and some scenic waterfalls.Day 3 Caño Island National Park
This morning you'll be picked up for your tour of the Caño Island Biological Reserve. This ancient and mysterious place was inhabited by Pre-Columbian people and more recently, pirates!Day 4 Corcovado/San José
