Itinerary

Day 1 San Jose

Arrive in San Jose and venture to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2-3 Pacuare

Deep in the heart of Costa Rica’s Pacuare Protected Zone prepare to experience two action-packed days and one relaxing night in this jungle playground. Getting there is half the fun as we drive then white water raft along the indomitable Pacuare River with its thundering Class III and IV rapids to our lodge.

Day 4 -5 Turrialba

A full-day biking tour includes the picturesque Turrialba Volcano. On Day 5, it’s off to the Tayutic Hacienda for a cultural tour. Discover the history of coffee and learn about organic brown sugar production. After lunch visit a colonial log house including a reconstructed 19th-century church.

Day 6-7 Sarapiquí

Transfer from Turrialba to the isolated paradise of the Sarapiquí rainforest. The next day embark on a picturesque canopy tour followed by horseback riding.

Day 8-9 Arenal

Arrive in Arenal and enjoy the day at leisure. On Day 9, dart across the famous Arenal hanging bridges and hike to the La Fortuna Waterfalls for a gentle swim. Return to La Fortuna for lunch. In the afternoon experience the rugged beauty as we hike Arenal Volcano National Park.

Day 10-12 Manuel Antonio / Quepos Area

Arrive to the quaint town of Manuel Antonio located at the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park and enjoy the day at leisure. For the following two days you will have the chance to explore the National Park on optional guided tours and at leisure.

Day 13 San José

Return to San José.

Day 14 San José

Depart for the airport.
