Days 1-3 Santiago

Days 9-11 Bariloche

Cross the Andes to Bariloche to indulge in a hearty beef parrillada then work it off taking nature hikes or dancing in a salsateca.

Days 20-22 Iguazu Falls

Days 36-37 Natal

The vast expanses of sand dunes in the Rio Grande do Norte call for adventure - why not explore them by sandboarding or by whizzing around in a dune buggy?

Days 38-44 Rio Grande do Norte/Ceara

Journey to the Terra da Luz, the Land of Light, so-called for the constant sunshine it enjoys. Travel through small beach towns and fishing villages in this seaside paradise. There is the option to take a cruise on a jangada, a traditional sailboat, or try windsurfing or kiteboarding for a faster pace.

Days 45-47 Piaui/Maranhao

Explore the towns, sand dunes and crystal lakes of the remarkable Parnaiba Delta. Then travel to the attractive World Heritage Site of Sao Luis.

Days 48-49 Belem

The Amazon meets the Atlantic in wonderful Belem. Stroll through the traditional Ver-o-Peso market to watch locals trade their wares, and consider a visit to the hummingbird and butterfly park.
