Itinerary

Day 1 Windhoek

Enjoy this attractive capital set against a backdrop of majestic mountains. Perhaps order a pilsner while checking out Windhoek's nightlife.

Day 2 Ghanzi

The oldest hunter-gatherer society known to man, the fascinating San bushmen have made the vast, inhospitable Ghanzi region their home for centuries. Learn how these remarkable people live and spend the night in the desert under an immense starry sky.

Days 3-4 Okavango Delta

Accompanied by local guides, explore the watery wilderness of Okavango Delta on foot and in a traditional dugout canoe. A seasonal habitat for a great many birds and animals including hippos, hyenas, antelope and eagles, this is a perfect introduction to the African bush. Appreciate the tranquillity of the delta at night, on a house boat amid a carpet of water lilies.

Days 5-6 Ngepi Camp

We head to Ngerpi Camp and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful area as well as the chance to animal spot from your own front deck!

Days 7 Chobe National Park

Prepare for the ultimate game viewing experience in Chobe National Park. With the largest elephant population on the continent, riverine forests and marshes teeming with nearly all of Africa's major species, you'll be in safari heaven. Look out for crocs on a relaxing river cruise.

Days 8-9 Victoria Falls/Livingstone

Feel the wind on your face on an open vehicle game drive through Chobe National Park. Then cross into Zambia for a sunset cruise upon one of the world's greatest rivers, the Zambezi, which drops into a deep chasm, creating the impressive Victoria Falls. Spend time at the falls or, for something different, view them from an optional scenic flight.
