Itinerary

Days 1-2 Delhi/Overnight Train

Head by public bus to the Red Fort for a taste of Delhi.

Days 3-4 Almora

Wooden houses with elaborately carved facades and holy shrines dot the old hill station of Almora.

Day 5 Corbett Tiger Reserve

Take a mini safari into the Corbett Tiger Reserve to spot creatures big and small.

Days 6-8 Rishikesh

Flex those limbs and discover inner peace in the yoga capital of the world.

Day 9 Haridwar

The holy Hindu city of Hardiwar is popular with pilgrims, who send floating flames down the Ganges in the evenings.

Days 10-11 Delhi

Explore the markets, stalls and laneways that make up the remarkable Old Delhi.

Days 12-13 River Ganges

Kick back and watch the world float by on a Ganges river cruise. Pass village communities and view the abundance of river life on this most spiritual of waterways.

Days 14-16 Varanasi

Soak up the magical atmosphere of Varanasi. India's religious heart is alive with devotees who line the ghats, twisting alleyways, shrines and temples.

Day 17 Agra

The Mughal city of Agra is justly famous for its iconic masterpiece, the beautiful Taj Mahal. Tear yourself away from this stunning mausoleum to make a visit to the impressive Red Fort.

Days 18-19 Jaipur

Explore the city's museums, visit the Amber Fort or even catch a Bollywood film.

Day 20 Roopangarh Fort

Complete with a serpentine entrance, turrets and a grand hall, the Roopangarh Fort is a truly majestic place to stay.

Days 21-22 Pushkar

From the enchanting whitewashed temples of Pushkar, set off into the desert on camel back. Spend a night feasting and listening to the traditional songs of Rajasthani nomads warbled around the campfire.

Days 23-24 Delhi

Cross over Snake Mountain to the Muslim city of Ajmer and catch a train back to crazy Delhi for a final spot of shopping.
