Day 1-2, Miami & Florida Keys

First stop - Florida, "The Sunshine State". From Miami, head to the colourful coral reefs of the Florida Keys with opportunities to swim, snorkel or just relax on its white, sandy beaches.Accommodation: Camping Included

Day 3-6, Orlando & Gulf Beaches

Spend three days to visit the myriad of attractions in Orlando, including a day at Disneyworld's Magic Kingdom.Accommodation: Camping Included

Day 7-8, New Orleans

Next is New Orleans, the place everyone loves to visit, with its exciting nightlife, great music and that special French flavour. Explore the enchanting French Quarter, ride a steamboat on the Mississippi River, enjoy traditional jazz at Preservation Hall or sample a Hurricane at Pat O'Brien's!Accommodation: 2 nights New Orleans hotel approx US$45 pppn in multi-share rooms paid locally

Day 9-10, Texas

Day 11-15, Big Bend National Park, El Paso, Tucson & Sonoran Desert

On to Texas where "big" is REALLY BIG! Five days exploring the land of cowboys, from the awe-inspiring canyons of Big Bend National Park to the delightful charm of San Antonio. Then, back to nature: the beautiful desert solitude of the Sonoran Desert near Tucson There is also an 'once in a lifetime' optional visit to spend a night at a secluded cowboy camp. Day 16-17, Grand Canyon National Park

Just when the scenery seems unbeatable, journey to the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Day 18-19, Las Vegas

On to an incredible man-made wonder in the desert - Las Vegas! Day 20-25, Death Valley National Park, San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara & San Francisco

Desert glitz turns to desert landscape as we move on to Death Valley National Park. Discover the beauty behind the names of such glorious sights as Golden Canyon, Dante's View and Zabriskie Point. Leaving Death valley, we spend our final five days visiting San Diego, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara; the three best 'beach' cities of Southern California for soaking in the history, culture, scenery and winter sun of this 'Golden State'.
