Day 1-2, New York & Washington DC

We head out of the "Big Apple" onto Washington DC, the perfect introduction to the social, cultural and political history of the United States. Stand before the awe-inspiring monuments and explore the world renowned museums, such as the Smithsonian. Why not take advantage of the great nightlife in Georgetown!Accommodation: Camping included

Day 3-5, Appalachian Mountains, Tennessee & Alabama

From the Shenandoah Mountains to the lush, natural beauty of the Appalachian Mountains - home to the American black bear and former haunt of the Cherokee Indians. Looking for a bit more excitement? Thrill to whitewater rafting, before entering the "Deep South" and the State of Mississippi.Accommodation: Camping included

Day 6-7, New Orleans

Into the enchanting French Quarter of New Orleans! Ride a steamboat on the Mississippi River, enjoy traditional jazz at Preservation Hall or sample a Hurricane at Pat O'Brien's! New Orleans has more than just food, drink and music to offer. Join a swamp tour into the alligator habitat of southern Louisiana, to view all sorts of wildlife on the mysterious bayous of Cajun country.Accommodation: New Orleans hotel approx. US$45 pppn in multishare rooms paid locally.

Day 8-10, Panama Beach & Gulf Coast

Then on to the Gulf of Mexico's 'Southern Riviera', Panama City Beach. We have two days here to jet ski, windsurf or just recover on the beach and soak up the sun.Accommodation: Camping included

Day 11-14, Orlando & Miami

Continue south to Orlando and the magic of Disneyworld. Visit the incredible EPCOT Center, do some last minute shopping or cool off in a Wet 'n Wild water theme park.
