Day 1-2, Anchorage, Alaska Range & Wrangell Mountains
We leave Anchorage and test the challenging McCarthy Road north past the massive Mantanuska Glacier en route to the towering Wrangell Mountains in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. While in this area, you will have time for a guided glacier hike or to try ice-climbing on the nearby Kennicott glacier.Accommodation: Camping includedDay 3, Tangle Lake
Explore this vast wilderness, before crossing the mighty Alaska Mountain Range. Cross the Alaskan Pipeline and spend one night camping in the Tangle Lakes region before arriving at Denali National Park.Accommodation: Camping includedDay 4-6, Denali National Park
Travel the lone road in this awe-inspiring national park on two full day scenic bus rides to endless views and hiking opportunities. Experience this pristine preserve with its ancient residents (moose, caribou, fox, and of course, grizzly bear) and hike in the shadows of Mt.
