Itinerary
Day 1-3, Los Angeles, Pacific Coast & Yosemite
From Los Angeles we head north and a stop along the beautiful Pacific Coast. Then into Yosemite National Park and the breathtaking beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. Accommodation: Camping includedDay 4-10, San Francisco, Redwoods, Seattle & Vancouver
San Francisco, the city with so very much to offer travellers, is next. Nightlife, baseball, cable cars and shops fill your visit. This trek explores the jewels of the Northwest; Vancouver, Seattle and the coastal redwood forests - each have a special character unique to the area. Accommodation: 4 nights camping included + 3 nights hotel (Seattle & San Fran) approx US$45 pppn in multi-share rooms paid locally.Day 11-18, Lake Louise, Banff, Glacier & Yellowstone National Parks
Glacier and Banff National Parks will leave you breathless. The Rocky Mountains are next! Cowboys still live the "Old West" in Montana. Then into the magnificent and unique landscapes of Yellowstone National Park to view wildlife and witness the park's natural recovery after the fires of 1988 before kicking our boots off at a Country Western Bar in Cody. Accommodation: Camping includedDay 19-25, Black Hills, South Dakota, Chicago & Ohio
Visit the presidents at famous Mt. Rushmore National Monument and the Native Americans' response at the even larger, Crazy Horse Monument. East now through Minnesota into the Sioux Indian lands of Badlands National Park and the famed Black Hills. Around the bottom of the Great Lakes to the "Windy City", Chicago, famous for music, museums and Lake Shore Drive. Accommodation: 4 nights camping included + 2 nights Chicago hotel approx US$45 pppn in multi-share rooms paid locally.Day 26-28, Niagara Falls, Finger Lakes & New York
Then the thundering waters of Niagara Falls, where your Maid of the Mist boat ride will get you up close and personal with this great natural wonder. South to the lovely region of the aptly-named Finger Lakes, before heading to the Great Lakes and New York. Accommodation: Camping included Tour ends at 18:00 hrs in New York on day 28.Trip Details
