Day 1 Arrive Goa

Arrive in Goa at any time.

Day 2 Goa

With a history as vast as the sea itself, the Portuguese influence can be felt everywhere in Goa, in the churches and chapels, and unbroken sun-soaked beaches. Discover the World Heriatge churches of Old Goa before wandering around Panjim, the small state capital, with a distinct unhurried character.

Day 3-4 Hampi

Hampi is a beautiful ancient temple town settled on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. This is the perfect place to relax and explore the ruins of the World Heritage site of the 14th century Vijaynagar Dynasty. Hire a bike, go for walks, swim in the river, or just chill out in the riverside cafes.

Day 5-7 Goa Carnival

Goa Carnival is a traditional Mardi Gras celebration, introduced by the Portuguese. For three days and nights, the legendary King Momo takes over the state and the streets come alive with colour. Although essentially a Christian festival that marks the last chance for feasting and merriment before Lent, the event in Goa blends trends and beliefs from all faiths and cultures creating a wonderful feeling of community. Expect a warm welcome as well as parades, live music, dancers, street entertainers, cultural performances and religious services.
