Day 2 Bangkok (B)

Start the morning with a ride through the canals of Bangkok and a visit to Wat Po, the temple of Thailand's largest reclining Buddha.

Day 3 Vientiane (B)

Quiet and relaxed, the city has a wealth of charms to offer - from its eclectic blend of French and Laotian architecture to the uncluttered streets, riverside cafes and quiet temples. Explore the highlights of Vientiane including Wat Sisaket, one of the city’s oldest and most fascinating temples, That Luang, Lao’s national symbol and one of its most sacred sites, and the morning market, an all-day affair selling virtually everything.

Day 4 Luang Prabang (B)

Take a short flight to Luang Prabang, an ancient royal city surrounded by stunning mountainous scenery and declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore this beautiful town, wander around quiet streets as you discover historic temples, vibrant markets, rich culture, stylish coffee houses and textile treasures.

Day 5-9 Orphanage Volunteer Project (5B,5L,5D)

We spend five days volunteering in an orphanage which is home to 350 children. Time is spent interacting with staff and children while assisting where help is needed. No experience necessary. Optional activities during the free time include visits to sacred temples and shrines, the Royal Palace Museum, a vibrant ethnic market and a thriving Buddhist community of more than 1000 monks.

Day 10-12 Vang Vieng

Relax at the peaceful riverside hamlet of Vang Vieng. The main attractions are caves, Hmong villages, 17th century monasteries and the natural mountain scenery.
