Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Hanoi

Arrive in Hanoi at any time.

Day 2-3 Halong Bay (2B, 2L, 1D)

Enjoy a 2-day boat trip on the azure waters of this magical bay. Explore caves and marvel at the thousands of surf sculpted limestone islands that rise from the waves.

Day 4-5 Hue (B)

Explore the treasures of the former imperial capital, making sure to take in the Forbidden Purple City, modeled after the Forbidden City in Beijing. The true highlight of Hue is the surrounding countryside. Travelling by boat along the Perfume River, make sure to visit Tien Mu Pagoda and the tombs of two Emperors, Minh Mang and Khai Dinh.

Day 6 Hoi An (B)

Spend the afternoon wandering through the colourful colonial homes, tucked in between wooden shop-houses, pagodas and Chinese communal houses.

Day 7-11 Community Volunteer Project (5B, 5L, 5D)

You will be engaged in a variety of projects, from teaching English pronunciation, playing games with children, assisting schools to set up a simple library system, as well as the building and refurbishment of playgrounds, schools and homes to help raise the standard of living throughout rural Vietnam. No experience necessary.

Day 12-13 Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) (2B)

A short flight takes us to Ho Chi Minh City. Discover the infectious energy of Vietnam’s biggest city, with its open-air music concerts, blinking neon lights and overflowing markets. Included is a tour of the legendary Cu Chi tunnels which span over 200km.
