Bavarian beer, Bavarian cuisine and Bavarian culture combine to make this one tour of Germany you don’t want to miss. Germans love their beer, and drink on average more than almost any nation on the face of the earth and the Octoberfest is where you get to not only see this in action, but partake in the festivities as well. Imagine singing along with ten thousand other voices to a simple but famous Bavarian song while the oom pah pah band plays while wearing lederhosen and hats with feathers in them, and you dance on tables with everybody else in unbridled joy. This is Octoberfest! Ok course, this tour is not only about beer. It’s also about sampling Bavarian cuisine, learning about the culture and history of Munich. And of course, two full day trips to gorgeous alpine lands where one can see where Walt Disney got his inspiration for the Disney castle and where Julie Andrews sang “the hills are alive with the sound of music” in the classic movie The Sound of Music. And where was this?: In Salzburg, Austria!
