Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive La Paz

Arrive in La Paz at any time.

Days 2-4 Puno/Lake Titicaca (B,2L,D)

Enjoy the spectacular views as we travel from La Paz to Puno. Take a boat trip to visit Taquile and Amantani Islands before being immersed in Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small village. Visit the floating islands of Uros before returning to Puno.

Days 5-11 Cuzco/Ollantaytambo/Inca Trail ( 3B,3L,4D)

Take an unforgettable journey through the high Altiplano region to Cuzco. Explore Cuzco, the colonial centre and ancient Incan capital before heading out on the Inca Trail. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry free, and days are filled with fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery. On the final day watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu and the surrounding Andean mountain peaks from the Sun Gate.

Day 12 Colca Canyon

Renowned to rafters, Colca Canyon is one of the world's deepest. Watch for Andean condors soaring and nesting against the towering canyon walls.

Day 13-14 Arequipa (B,L)

Deep in the Andean highlands, Arequipa stands at the foot of the snow-capped volcano, El Misti. It is said that the name comes from the Quechua phrase meaning "Yes, stay!"

Day 15 Puerto Inca (B,L,D)

Take a break from the mountains and head for the beautiful seashore location of Puerto Inca. Explore Quebrada de la Vaca, one of the most important coastal archeological sites between Nazca and Copiapo.

Days 16-17 Nazca/Pisco (D)

Nazca is best known for the mysterious Nazca Lines where an optional flight is the best way to get a bird’s eye view. Pisco, famous for the drink of the same name, is the starting point for excursions to the Ballestas Islands.

Day 18 Lima (L)

Lima's museums are filled with cultural treasures, reflecting a long and varied history. The "City of Kings" is filled with colonial buildings, and boasts excellent cafes and great nightlife.
