Day 1 Arrive Lima
Arrive in Lima at any time.Day 2 Cuzco
Relax or explore the nearby Inca ruins, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and churches.Day 3 Ollantaytambo
Travel through the Sacred Valley to Pisac and discover the picturesque town and Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo.Day 4 - 7 Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (3B, 3L, 3D)
Your once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas begins at km 82. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free, while fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery fill every day of the hike. On the final day, climb the steps to Intipunku, the "Sun Gate", to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu.Day 8-9 Cuzco
Discover Cuzco with its many back alleys, museums and churches built on Inca ruins. Explore the sights and sounds of this great colonial town or spend the day mountain biking or rafting.Day 10-13 Qoylluriti Festival (4B, 3L, 3D)
Qoylluriti is one of the largest festivals in the Andes and is a feast for the senses, where you will experience an incredible mix of Andean and Catholic traditions. Learn from our local guide about the people who make the pilgrimage with you and follow these high altitude processions. The traditional dress, the colours, the scenery and the energy create a truly unforgettable and unique experience. The night of day 12 will be spent walking by moonlight and following a procession through the mountains, waiting for the sunrise and watching the dancing that the sun's rays bring.Day 14 Cuzco / Corpus Christi
Today is the Corpus Christi procession in Cuzco. In Inca times, the people took the mummies of their ancestors and formed processions around the main square of Cuzco. Later, during the colonial times, these mummies were replaced by Catholic saints and virgins, making the procession a fascinating mix of old and new traditions.Trip Details
