Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Salvador

Arrive in Salvador at any time.

Day 2 Manaus

Catch an early flight deep into the jungle metropolis of Manaus, an international port city perched on the bank of the Rio Negro, about 10K upstream from the Amazon and an important stop along the river. Enjoy some free time to wander this hot and bustling city, with many interesting sights and museums including the world-famous pink opera house.

Day 3-5 Amazon Jungle (2B,3L,2D)

Head out early on day 3 by boat towards our jungle lodge and base for the next 2 nights. Spend your time here spotting wildlife and taking guided walks on jungle paths, while learning about the local indigenous communities and traditional Amazon life.

Day 6 Fortaleza

From the jungle, head to the coastal city of Fortaleza. You may choose to explore the city's many attractions including museums, the historical centre or handicraft markets, or just relax on one of the many gorgeous beaches in the area.

Day 7-10 Jericoacoara

Travel north along the Brazilian coastline, through small fishing villages and beach towns. Pass through secluded oases, mangrove clad rivers, and beautiful remote beaches piled with giant sand dunes. This is a stunning part of Brazil that few visitors have the opportunity to see.

Day 11-12 Olinda

Olinda is one of the best preserved colonial cities in all of Brazil. Spend your time here wandering the cobblestone streets and visiting some of the many museums in town.

Day 13-14 Salvador

Ahoy mates! Board a schooner for an included full day at sea, visiting remote beaches and soaking in the sun. Enjoy one final night on the town with your new-found friends.
