Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Beijing or Shanghai

Arrive in Beijing or Shanghai at any time.

Day 2-4 Lhasa

Join the pilgrims in the holy city of Lhasa, and examine the Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lamas. Soak in the atmosphere of Lhasa as you walk amongst the fabulous markets selling everything from tea to Tibetan prayer flags.

Day 5 Gyantse

Built at the centre of the trade routes from Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan, Gyantse is overlooked by an impressive fort. Its monastery is one of the finest in central Tibet.

Day 6 Shigatse

Tibet's second most important city with one of the country's most richly spectacular and extensive monastic complexes.
